Today I completed the walk along the embankment. There were still two bare gates which are now clothed [dressed up].

My first Miekniffity action-packet went on a journey in a cycle bag.

Vandaag ontdekte ik waar 2 breiwerkjes zijn terechtgekomen,

Is het niet fantastisch?! Zat ik ook maar in die fietstas ☺ !!!

Isn’t that fantastic!  I wish I were in that cycle bag, too!

Op weg naar de volgende kale hekjes tijdens een kadewandeling.

Walking along the embankment, en route to the next bare gates.

Zolang mijn handlanger Lidy blijft zitten valt dit breiwerkje niet op ☺ !

As long as my accomplish Lidy stays sitting, this piece of knitting is inconspicuous.

De breiwerkjes zijn op, toch zagen we tijdens deze wandeling nog een paar kale hekjes, wie weet kleed ik die volgende week aan. Even moed verzamelen want uit en thuis was dit toch 11 km lopen. 

We’ve used up all the squares, but we saw a couple of bare gates during this walk along the embankment. Who knows, perhaps I’ll dress those next week. I just need to pluck up the courage for the round trip was an 11 km walk.

New Squares

Today I knitted a couple of squares for tomorrow’s walk.

Vandaag een nieuw pad ontdekt, dwars door weilanden, ik vertel nog even niet waar, maar er stond een kaal hekje dat ik gewoon 'moest' voorzien van een breiwerkje.

A bare gate

Today I discovered a new path crossing the meadowland. I won’t say yet where it was, but there was still a bare gate which I just “had” to decorate with a piece of knitting. 

en moet ik aan de slag, een nieuwe voorraad lapjes breien, voor het geval ik nog meer hekjes tegenkom tijdens mijn voorjaarswandelingen.

And I must get on with knitting more squares, in case I come across more gates during my spring walks.
